NON-CLWSC MEMBERS CAN PARTICIPATE IN SLALOM PROGRAM!
The Board of Directors, under recommenation from Mike Barrette, voted to allow individuals who are not Coventry Lake Water Ski Club members to participate in the Slalom Program provided they are USA Water Ski members. Non club participants must present their current USA Water Ski card or a copy of their membership receipt and pay the boat driver $15.00 for the session. SLALOM COURSE TO BE IN LAKE FRIDAY, SUNDAY MORNINGS AND TUESDAY AFTERNOONS!
The club is planning to utilize the slalom course on Friday and Sunday mornings and Tuesday afternoons throughout the season as part of it's"King/Queen of the Lake Tournament". All members are welcome to come down and take a shot at the course! Course usage will cost $10 per day payable to the boat driver that pulls you through the course to offset the cost of fuel.

SLALOM COURSE APPLICATION SUBMITTED TO DEP
4/19/2007: Mike Barrette, the Slalom Program Coordinator, completed the Slalom Course Application and submitted it last week. This was a major undertaking which took several months to complete, mainly due to the information that had to be collected from outside sources. Within a few weeks we should hear from the DEP about whether we can proceed to the next step in the process, which should be a site visit by the DEP and a Public Hearing, or whether the application will be returned for more information. Everyone cross your fingers!! A special thanks to Scott Sheldon, Scott Shroyer, and Harvey Barrette who went out of their way to gather required information and help out.
